History

Bucca Di Beppo started out as a group of small time restaurants in the basement of an Apartment complex in Minneapolis, Minnesota and its owners specialized in serving family style Italian food to many of the locals. The name actually translates to Beppo’s whole referring to small, “whole in the wall” restaurants.  From these humble beginning in 1993, it has transformed into a huge national company with more than 80 locations. It has recently been purchased by Planet Hollywood and now calls Orlando Home.  Today it has two Orlando locations: one in Maitland, and the other in Central Orlando.

Experience

Bucca Di Beppo is known for taking its family feel to heart.  Each new visitor is allowed to take an intimate tour of the kitchen to see how their favorite Italian dishes are made. After that, guest are then shown to their seats and find themselves surrounded by an array of Italian, photo graphs, figurines and hundreds of other pieces of memorabilia and  checkered  table clothes. Food is then served family style and visitors are encouraged to share dishes around the table. Bucca Di Beppo is also a good spot to plan a big family dinner and they have a special table known as the Pope's table specially created for groups of 8 or more.

With Kids

Bucca Di Beppo is known as a good place for even the fussiest of eaters. It serves some of kids' classic favorites like  pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meat balls, and mac and cheese. It is a popular place to prevent melt downs at the  end of the day after a long day playing in one of Orlando’s parks and attractions. They also provide coloring pages and are well equipped for large families.
