Disney Hotels

Disney Hotels

Most Disney hotels are located in South Orlando in the vicinity of one or more Disney theme parks. Most Disney hotels provide free shuttle service to and from the parks. They differ from resorts in that they rarely feature themed accommodations, making them a great way to save money if theme isn’t important to you. Many of these hotels are directly linked to the park itself, making it easy to purchase a package that includes entrance as well as accommodations. It can be overwhelming to choose a hotel when there’s such a variety of options, but the following choices will give you a feel for the type of experience you can get for the amount of money you’re willing to spend. If you’re willing to skip the themed resorts, you can find a place that’s close to Disney for a very reasonable rate.

Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

The Wyndham Grand Orlando is one of the more upscale hotels in Walt Disneyworld, and offers guests the opportunity to indulge themselves in things besides themed rooms. The property is located on 500 acres of tropical paradise. With a network of heated outdoor pools and poolside cabana, guests will love the opportunity to lounge around after a long day of wandering in the theme parks.

The hotel offers three restaurants and a poolside bar and grill, offering guests plenty of options, especially those traveling with children. The hotel is also home to a spa and fitness center, so pampering is always only steps away.

If you’re traveling with kids under the age of 18, up to two can stay for free when using existing beds. Note that public parking for your rental car is available for an extra fee and averages around $12 per day.

Hilton Walt Disney World Resort

If you’re looking for a good midrange hotel inside Disneyworld, the Hilton won’t disappoint. Basic rooms are chic and understated, a quite a bit nicer than the midrange options you’ll find outside of the Disneyworld park system.

What makes this hotel stand apart is the wide variety of dining options. There are seven dining options scattering throughout the hotel, including a café, grill, and deli. Cuisine has an international flair and ranges from American favorites to Japanese and Italian restaurants.

Downtown Disney is just a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and it also provides free shuttle transportation to any park. For your convenience, a concierge is available for booking tours and car rentals. An on-site beauty salon is available if you’re in the mood for a little pampering.

Like most Disney hotels, it comes equipped with a fitness center, game room for the kids, a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Note that wifi and wired internet available for an extra fee.

Best Western Lake Buena Vista

This hotel is a perfect example of an accommodation that’s closely linked to Disney but lacks the themed atmosphere, making it a convenient budget option close to the park system. It is located on-sit in Walt Disney World and offers free transportation to the parks. The Disney Marketplace is located within walking distance of the hotel, giving guests easy access to a variety of shopping and restaurants. But if you want to stay near the hotel after a long day in the parks, the hotel also offers an on-site restaurant, lounge, café, and bar. A breakfast buffet is available every morning from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

Up to three children stay free of charge when existing beds are used, and rollaways are available for an extra fee.
